The sole team not introducing chassis upgrades this weekend is Aston Martin, which has been held back by power unit vibration issues that have affected performance since the start of the season. Honda has said it will roll out new countermeasures this weekend to tackle those problems.

Championship leaders Mercedes have brought only a modest update to the W17: revised exhaust tailpipes and redesigned front brake drums intended to yield small increases in downforce.

By contrast, McLaren, Red Bull and Ferrari have introduced more extensive packages.

Ferrari has listed 11 separate changes to the SF-26, including updates to the floor, suspension, rear wing and other body surfaces. The package is aimed at increasing downforce while improving efficiency in Straight Mode.

Red Bull have trialled a version of Ferrari’s rotating rear wing, which they first tested in Miami, and have brought it back. They have also reshaped the RB22’s sidepods and made adjustments to the front wing and floor to smooth airflow and enhance overall aerodynamic performance.

Most of McLaren’s changes focus on aerodynamics as well. The MCL40 features a heavily revised floor designed to work with several smaller updates to improve performance across a broader range of conditions. The team has also revised the car’s cooling louvres for a race weekend that brings high humidity and peak temperatures around 33°C, increasing the importance of effective heat rejection.

In the midfield, Williams have introduced one of the more comprehensive upgrade packages, partly focused on reducing the FW48’s weight. Cadillac is also pursuing weight savings with changes to the MAC-26. Racing Bulls have applied multiple aerodynamic revisions, while Audi and Haas have listed only a handful of minor updates.
