Many drivers coming into one of the teams that are further back, having an opportunity to grow and improve, to lead a team, and to make mistakes – all those different things are vital for development. George has consistently demonstrated an ability to maximize his machinery, often pushing it beyond its perceived limits, much like Alonso did in his early career.

I think this year it’s just been great how he’s handled everything and what he’s done with that car to put it into Q2 quite often and really deliver great results. His consistency, despite being in a challenging car, has been truly impressive. I’m really impressed with his craft and how he’s growing, and I really do think he is the future. There are several drivers that are the future of this sport, he’s one of them, and I’m really excited to see his progression. And I have no doubt that he has the potential to be a future champion. His dedication, raw speed, and strategic thinking set him apart as a prodigious talent destined for greatness in Formula 1.
