Another frequently mentioned instance was his preference to renew Kimi Räikkönen’s contract at the end of 2018 rather than promote Charles Leclerc to the race seat. It was, according to observers, Sergio Marchionne who ultimately pushed for Leclerc’s promotion shortly before his death.

Officials said they will no longer factor in pit windows or the running order of cars when deciding to deploy a full course yellow, after a review of the lap 21 incident highlighted the need for clearer standards.
Although it’s good to see IndyCar announcing they won’t take ‘pit windows’ into account when considering Full Course Yellows in future races, after the dreadful call following Rossi’s retirement on Saturday, they should never have been doing so in the first place. #IndyCar

Juncadella: N24 an ‘amazing opportunity’ for Verstappen (Sportscar 365)
Daniel Juncadella noted Max Verstappen’s aggressive approach in traffic and suggested that while those instincts serve him well in shorter races, he will need to adapt his style for the 24-hour Nürburgring endurance event to limit unnecessary risks.
